Energy assessments are a type of attitudinal assessment, rather than a personality assessment.
Personality assessments (Myers-Briggs, Enneagram, DISC, Big Five, Insights, Emergenetics) identify inherent personality types and help you understand your strengths and weaknesses so you can adapt your behavior to “work with what you have.”
Attitudinal assessments measure your current energy levels based on your attitude, perception, and perspective. Since they provide a snapshot of this moment in your life and are not fixed, you have the ability to alter and adjust them to change how they impact your life. Attitude is adjustable because it is not an inherent quality, and it is directly related to your actions and how you function.
The ELI (Energy Leadership Index) is an attitudinal assessment that consists of 70 questions. It measures your core and subconscious beliefs at the moment of your life when you take it. It is a device, not a test.
The report of your results demonstrates how your various energy levels manifest in your life at your current baseline, and your default response to stressful events or things. It also provides a numerical assessment indicating your overall life satisfaction.
During our debrief, I will explain seven levels of energy that everyone experiences to varying degrees. We'll explore how you react to the world, handle stress, and the influencers affecting these aspects. Together, we'll identify areas for improvement and understand how your energy levels interact.
No one has all their energy in one level, and no one’s energy is consistent in all areas of life. Your energy is either in the past or present. Your thoughts may be influenced by past experiences, which can shape your current perspective and affect how you navigate through life.
My goal as a coach and ELI-MP (Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner) is to educate and support you in consciously choosing your energetic presentations.
Energy Leadership is literally the process of leading energy to work for you and not against you. You can learn how to lead your own energy and help shift the energy of those around you to motivate and inspire them, feel a greater sense of purpose, get more done with less effort, and consistently attract people and success into your life.
Leadership is any interaction with influence, whether focused consciously or unintentionally. Leadership is found in families, bands, teams, events, businesses, agencies, labels… and includes self-leadership, which is the ability to motivate yourself to do what you want to do.
Your Level of Energy (consciousness) creates your world each moment. By altering your perceptions of yourself, your work, and your people, you can create a more fulfilling life.
GREAT FOR GROUPS
When taking the Energy Assessment as a group, the energy of each individual who participates is combined into one report. This allows for the identification of patterns and energy interplay within the collective.
This can be used for groups who know each other well, or by groups who have just met and want to collaborate. It shows individuals how they impact the whole, without discussing or focusing on any individual member’s specific responses or results. This works wonders for bands, artist teams, agency and label departments, venue and touring staff, and anyone working with a specific group of people to achieve a common goal.
Our energy influences and attracts the reality we experience. Being aware of the energy of a group illuminates opportunities for synergy, as well as a greater understanding for each others’ needs and the stress factors that might make it hard to come together at times.
Energy Assessment group debriefs help identify awareness of the current culture, shift energy, and raise consciousness to increase engagement. When individuals are more satisfied, they are more productive and perform at a higher level as a group.
